During the last couple of years the number of J80 has constantly been growing and at the moment the well proven sports sailing yacht is the prefered new training boats of the Clubs in Denmark. Almost all clubs invite their members to participate in the J80 Class races which give an unique opportunity for young sailors to experience moderne keel boat racing.

To support the young teams the J80 Association has decided to reduce the participation fee in the Open Danish Championships from 14th-16th August at 50% of the normal fee.

Normal price is dkk 1.200,- (161 Euros) and special price for sub 25 years old teams is dkk 600,- (81 Euros)
